EDITORIAL JUDGEMENTThought LeadershipNarrative Strategy
Content is the output. Knowing what is worth saying is the strategy.
Research. Interviews. Data. Business priorities. Half-formed ideas buried in a 60-slide deck. I sort through the mess, find what matters and turn it into a point of view worth paying attention to.
Content isn’t the scarce resource anymore. Judgment is.
Real thought leadership starts before anyone starts writing.
I work with brilliant experts and organizations to build narratives that lead to conversations that matter.
When I'm brought in
AI can and will accelerate the output. What you need is judgment about what should be created in the first place.
There is deep expertise, but no clear narrative or point of view.
The subject matter is complex, nuanced or high-stakes...and simplifying it isn’t simple.
The smartest people in the room know what they know, but haven’t found the language for it yet.
The research and data is compelling. The story inside it needs to become thought leadership.
The organization knows what it wants to say, but not yet what its audience needs to hear.
I'm probably not your person if…
You want AI to do the thinking and a human to clean up the sentences.
You need someone to make more content because someone said you "need more content."
You already know exactly what you want to say and just need someone to fill in the words.
You think thought leadership means putting an executive's name on a generic article.
But if you have smart people, interesting ideas, complicated subject matter or a pile of research and aren't quite sure what the story is yet?
That's where I get interested.
What I Do
From expertise to point of view.
My work spans thought leadership, editorial strategy, research, narrative and positioning, connecting what an organization knows with what its audiences actually need to hear.

I started as a writer and editor, then spent my content marketing career with brands that cannot afford to get it wrong, including financial services, payments, fintech, consulting, healthcare, and other regulated environments.
My experience has landed me in places full of brilliant experts, dense subject matter, and far more content than anyone could use. I became the go-to person for finding the pattern in all of the chaos: identifying what an audience actually needs, which idea is worth communicating, and how to shape complex information into a narrative that sparks meaningful conversations.
The training behind my method runs on two tracks: business strategy on one side, language and editorial judgment on the other. My strongest work lives in that intersection.
